Bobbi Cecio, Co-Founder/ Administrator
Bobbi Cecio has spent over 16 years in the field of Education, providing learning experiences for both adults and children. Her extensive background in a variety of educational forums has made her a leader in creating working environments – both corporately and in the home – that have common communication practices, strong teams and effective tools.
Bobbi’s passion is to create environments where each and every person is known and celebrated for their unique gifts.
Bobbi has a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelors in Mathematics. For the past 14 years, Bobbi has been the Head of School for two large private Montessori schools in New Jersey. Her experience and background in Montessori education has included roles with individual schools as well as serving in a leadership capacity for six years for the New Jersey Montessori Administrator’s Council – A statewide organization comprised of Montessori Administrators. In addition, she has been a speaker at several regional and national Montessori Conferences and has consulted for several schools in a variety of capacities. Her strength in the field of Education and Consulting comes not only from her background in school leadership, but also from a variety of other additional certifications and trainings: She is a Certified Corporate Empowerment Consultant, a Certified Parent Educator and Parent Educator Trainer through the International Network of Children and Families and a Certified Trainer of Redirecting for a Cooperative Classroom. Additionally, she is an Instructor for Your Infinite Life Training & Coaching Company and has facilitated classes nationally for schools, individuals, families and corporations.

Cynthia Huebscher
Upper Elementary Co-Teacher
Cynthia Huebscher has over 18 years teaching experience. She has taught in public schools and private schools, including Montessori programs. Cynthia has tutored students from 1st grade through college and has a clear understanding of the tools students need for the next their next plane of development. For Cynthia, multi-age settings are “the best” environment for active learning. Her passion is showing children how wonderful words can be to express one’s self whether reading someone one else’s writing or when writing or speaking to communicate with others.
Cynthia graduated from the California State University at Pomona with a degree in Liberal Studies. She took her teacher credentialing classes at National University. She is currently completing her 9-12 NAMC Montessori diploma coursework.
Jennifer Blackman
Newer Elementary Teacher
Jennifer Blackman is currently one of the early
elementary teachers at Village Gate Children’s Academy. The 2011-2012 school
year will be her second year with Village Gate as a teacher and her third year
as a parent of a student.
Jennifer received her teaching credential at Azusa Pacific University, as well as her Master’s Degree in Special Education. Her Bachelor’s Degree was in Behavioral Sciences and was completed at National University.
Jennifer has completed the Redirecting Children’s Behavior course and uses the methods taught through the course for classroom management.
Previously, Jennifer was a Program Director at Developmental Services Continuum, where she managed the daily routine of three residential facilities for persons with Intellectual Disabilities. When she left, she became an active board member with DSC and served as Board President for one year.
Carey Hardy, Assistant
Carey Hardy has held a life long passion for children, working in Elementary schools and Pre-schools since the age of 17. She studied Elementary Education and Theater Arts at the University of Arizona. During her acting career in Los Angeles she trained in several different healing modalities, learning from Masters around the world. This inspired her to educate herself further in Indigo Family Coaching, Non-Violent Communication, Indigo Spiritual Healings, Brain Gym and Children’s Yoga so she could fully support our young children in a nurturing and empowering way. She also works with parents in conscious conception and childbirth education. She is a mom to a 6-year-old daughter, Raya, who is the inspiration for her teaching career and desire to create a positive atmosphere for children to learn.
